Pacific Ethanol, Inc. is accepting resumes for
General Mechanic positions for our
ethanol facility located in Pekin, IL

Pacific Ethanol is seeking individuals with
the following skills and qualifications.
• High regard for personal accountability
• Practice a positive work ethic with a safety
first attitude
• Detailed oriented while working in a team
spirited environment
• React to equipment break downs with
a sense of urgency
• Read schematics, P & I D’s, blueprints
and engineering drawings
• Troubleshoot and repair of hydraulics,
pneumatics, conveyors including, drag, belt,
and screw conveyors.

• Repair and maintenance of rotating
equipment including pumps, centrifuges,
fans and the ability to perform precision
• Welding and fabrication.
• Perform preventative maintenance functions
• Must have experience maintaining and
constructing threaded and welded piping
• Must have experience with the repair of
centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
• Willing and able to work off shifts and
weekends as needed
• Must be drug free
• Must be reliable, dependable and punctual.
