Millikin University's Tabor School of Business will host its first Young Women Influencing Business Summit March 8-9, 2018 in the University Commons on Millikin's campus. The summit will include keynote speakers, interactive workshops, networking and conversations on current business trends. The summit will focus on influencing and empowering women as leaders in business.

On Thursday, March 8, featured keynote speakers Shelley Rosen, former McDonald's Corporation executive, and special guest Illinois Comptroller Susana Mendoza will speak about their experiences, strategies and knowledge of the business industry from 7:30 – 9 p.m. in the University Commons Banquet Room, located on the 3rd floor of the University Commons.

On Friday, March 9, the Summit will continue with a Q&A panel session featuring employees of Caterpillar Inc., from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m., followed by a Millikin Alumni Business Panel from 9:45 – 10:30 a.m. Shelley Rosen will also host a presentation entitled "Creating Your Own Brand Story" on March 9 from 10:45 a.m. – 12 p.m. All presentations will be held in the University Commons Banquet Room.

Millikin's Young Women Influencing Business Summit is presented by Women in Business, a student organization at Millikin University in the Tabor School of Business dedicated to bringing together business professionals and students of all majors to network and learn about business.
