FINDLAY -- The First Christian Church plans its second annual Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday behind the Okaw Valley Middle School beginning at 10 a.m. for pre-k thru fifth grade. In the case of inclement, weather the hunt will be held in the OVMS gym.

The Findlay High School Alumni Banquet will be held Saturday, April 14, in the Okaw Valley Middle School gym. The classes being honored this year are 1948, 1958, 1968, 1978, 1988, and 1998. The class of 1968 is celebrating 50 years.

This year's Distinguished Alumni Award will be presented to Chris (Eadie) Tippit for her service to the community. Registration begins at 5 p.m. in the lobby of the gym with the meal being served at 6 p.m. If you didn't receive an invitation and would like to attend, contact Chris Tippit at 217-756-8207.

The Findlay Clarence Bixler Post No. 409 will be hosting a drive thru dinner fundraiser Monday, April 16, to help raise funds for their scholarship fund. Tickets of $8 each are being sold now until April 9. The drive thru meal consists of chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, a roll, and a dessert and will be available for pick up Monday, April 16, from 4:30-6 p.m.
