SULLIVAN -- The First Christian Church of Sullivan will hold their annual Holiday Market on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
A beautiful hand-stitched 80-inch x 102-inch Illini quilt will be the prize in a drawing to be held at 1:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the church or Cathrine’s Gallery, 7 West Jefferson, just off the square, where the quilt is on display. Tickets may also be purchased on the day of the Holiday Market. They are $5 each or five for $20.
The Market will feature many shops this year. Everything in the Buck is Better shop will be for sale for one dollar. The Christmas shop will include wreaths, ornaments and many decorations. The Electronics shop will include workable cell phones, tablets, game systems, and other electronics that are in good condition.
Other shops will include the Jewelry Shop, Nuts & More, Quilters & Crafts, Toy Shop and a Twice is Nice shop which will feature items that look like new and are functional. The Bakery will include all types of candy, cookies, cakes, pies, rolls & breads.
In addition, a delicious lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. During the day there will be complimentary coffee and tea for your enjoyment.
The church is located on the east edge of Sullivan on Route 121 and 1200E.
