CHARLESTON -- Join the EIU Concert Choir, University Mixed Chorus with the Eastern Symphony Orchestra in the Many Moods of Christmas made famous by the Robert Shaw Chorale and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for the seasonal Holiday Concert.

Additionally, the Oratorio Society will join the choral forces in the spring as well for the Mozart Requiem in the OVATIONS Concert in April.

The Holiday Concert, featuring the Eastern Symphony Orchestra & EIU Choral Ensembles, will be held at 4 p.m. Dec. 3. Fall rehearsals will begin Wednesday, Oct. 11, and will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesdays in the choral/jazz rehearsal room 1360 in Doudna FAC

Fall dress rehearsals are Monday and Wednesday (Nov. 27 and 29) from 7-10 p.m. and final dress from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2.

The OVATIONS: Mozart REQUIEM, also featuring the Eastern Symphony Orchestra & EIU Choral Ensembles, will be held at 4 p.m. April 22.

Spring rehearsals will begin Feb. 14 (maybe earlier due to the length of the piece) and will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesdays in the choral/jazz rehearsal room 1360 in Doudna FAC.

Spring dress rehearsals are Monday, Wednesday and Friday (April 16, 18 and 20) from 7-10 p.m.

Students will also be rehearsing on Mondays at the same time
