Books Between Bites to be held Monday

MATTOON -- Friends of the Mattoon Public Library will host Books Between Bites at noon Monday in the library conference room.

Susan Bales will present a review of the book "Mary Ann" by Daphne Du Maurier. 

The public is invited and you are free to bring a sack lunch. Coffee and iced tea will be provided.

Create a Creature teen program to be held at Charleston Library

CHARLESTON -- Teens in middle school and high school are invited to create a creature at the Charleston Carnegie Public Library from 4-5 p.m. Tuesday and repeating from 4-5 p.m. Oct. 24 in the Zone. Sculpt your own little cute or creepy creature to keep. This is a free program and is open to the community. A library card is not needed to attend. ABC’s of Medicare Workshop to be held in Lovington

LOVINGTON -- SAIL, Soyland Access to Independent Living, will host a workshop introducing the ABC's of Medicare from 4-5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lovington Public Library, 110 W. State Street, Lovington. The presenter is Mervet Adams. The workshop is free; reservations are not required.
