CHARLESTON -- The Charleston High School Marching Trojans will be hosting an area-wide prom dress re-sale event on March 22, at the former Deb’s store at the Cross County Mall.
The organizers will accept clean, gently worn dresses the day before, from 3-7 p.m. March 21, and 8-9:30 a.m. March 22. Dresses may be consigned for a fee of $5 per dress and $2 for shoes and accessories. Donations are also accepted and fees will be waived on any donated items.
The event will be open to purchase dresses from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. March 22. There is an admission fee of $2 per person. In addition to shopping for prom dresses and accessories at an affordable price, participants will have the opportunity to win one of several prizes.
The event is cash and carry, no checks or credit cards are accepted and all sales are final.
Dresses that are not sold may be reclaimed by the consignor between 5:30 and 7 p.m. March 22 or marked for donation. Any dresses not picked up before 7 p.m. will be considered donated.
