Gospel Sing: Celebrate Christmas, Family Style

CASEY -- The Lesters and The Chosen Ones, two well-known Gospel groups, will once again present the “Celebrate Christmas, Family Style” dinner concert at Richards Farm Restaurant in Casey Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at noon.

Tickets are $25 per person and include a buffet-style meal and concert. They can be purchased by calling the Casey White Oak Church of God at 217-932-5771.

Holiday Fair to be held at Church of the Nazarene

SHELBYVILLE -- A Holiday Fair will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at Church of the Nazarene Christian Life Center. There will be vendors and a lunch stand.

Make and Take and re-gifting exchange to be held at Mattoon Faith Fellowship

MATTOON -- Mattoon Faith Fellowship Church will have a Christmas Make and Take from 2-4 p.m. Saturday. Come and make some gifts to give to your friends and family. Materials and instruction provided for at least four different gifts. 

Also Saturday from 2-4 p.m. they will have a re-gifting exchange. Bring in extra new gifts to trade; maybe you bought too many or received something that you don’t want. The gifts must be new and unused. Bring as many as you want and go home with some items you can give to someone on your list.

Annual Cookie Walk and Quilt Exhibit to be held at First Christian

GREENUP -- The Greenup United Methodist Church, located at 201 N. Kentucky St., invites you to attend their Annual Christmas Bazaar. It will be held at the church on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

They will have homemade cookies available by the “baker’s dozen,” craft tables, and tables of baked items. Their lunch menu will be chili, vegetable soup, sandwiches, homemade pie, tea, and coffee.
