Annual Dr. MLK, Jr. celebration to be held
URBANA -- An annual countywide celebration, to be held from 4-6 p.m. today at Vineyard Church, 1500 N. Lincoln Ave., commemorates Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy.
It brings together community members from Champaign County to celebrate the mission, teachings, and legacy of King. This year the committee will honor the leadership of local youth who are serving the Champaign-Urbana communities. With the theme of "Fifty Years Past, Fifty Years Forward: Our Future Dreamers," Sally Carter, CEO of Tap In Academy, will provide the keynote address.
Men's study to be held at Grace Fellowship

Wise Crackers Bible Study to be held
MATTOON -- Grace Fellowship Church, 2220 Western Ave., is continuing its study group started for the "Wise Adult" age group from 5-7 p.m. Saturday.
Join the adults of Grace Fellowship for a time of fun, fellowship, and study of God's word. Please bring a side dish or dessert and a friend. Drinks will be provided.

Lutheranism 101 Class to be held at St. John's
MATTOON -- Have you ever had questions about your life and faith like: “What is my purpose in life?” or, “Why are there so many interpretations of the Bible?” Everybody has questions about faith and there are answers.
Join St. John's Lutheran Church, 200 Charleston Ave. E, at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday as they dive into what it means to be a Lutheran during their "Lutheranism 101" New Member Class. There will be 10 sessions and babysitting will be provided.
