EDWARDSVILLE —Girl Scouts from Edgar County were among the more than 160 girls who participated in the annual Cookie College Program that was held recently at the N.O. Nelson Campus of Lewis & Clark Community College.

Girl Scouts from across much of the south half of Illinois built business and financial skills at the Cookie College, sponsored by Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois.

The girls learned how to boost their cookie sales, as well as how to use skills they learn during the Cookie Program to reach current and future goals.

Scouts affiliated with the Southern Illinois region will take cookie orders until Feb. 2.

Following cookie delivery in early March, Scouts will host cookie booths March 15-17, March 22-24, April 5-7 and April 12-14 at local establishments.
