CHARLESTON — Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois is hosting an “InSPAration” Day Camp at Fox Ridge State Park from June 17-21.

The Summer Day Camp provides girls with an adventurous program by day and returning home at night.

The Day Camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Fox Ridge State Park is located seven miles south of Charleston on Route 130.

Girls in kindergarten through eighth grade as of fall 2013, are welcome to attend.

The fee is $55 for Girl Scouts or $67 for those who are not Girl Scouts.

The deadline to register is May 15. A $10 fee will be imposed for late registration, and no registrations will be accepted after June 1.

The Fox Ridge Day Camp will include candle making, lotions, body scrubs and much more. Fishing, hiking and swimming are all on the agenda at the Spa Day at Camp.

On June 21, an overnight will be offered to all Girl Scout Juniors and Cadettes. The overnight fee is $10. Girls must register by June 19 for overnight.

Adult volunteers are needed. For those volunteering the full week, half of their daughter’s registration will be refunded at the end of camp. Complete the volunteer application and return it to Heather Todd at the address below.
