A note of thanks to What's Cookin'
Charleston’s soup kitchen, Soup Stop, opened its doors in 2001. At that time, we were able to serve only cold sandwiches because we had no way to prepare a hot meal. Bob and Therese Kincaid heard about our situation and offered to prepare hot meals for us at a very low cost. Seventeen years later, they are still preparing hot meals five days every week and have never increased our cost.
There are no words to adequately express our appreciation to the Kincaids and What’s Cookin’ for their years of providing us with hot meals to serve to the hungry people who come to Soup Stop.
