MATTOON —Learn more about the excursions being offered by Sarah Bush Lincoln’s AdvantAge 50 program at a kick-off party to be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, in the Lumpkin Center for Health Education.

Park in the north parking lot and enter through the Education Center canopy.

Troy Orwig and Rita Knotts of Good News Travels will be available to describe each of the exciting trips and answer any questions.

Trips planned for this year include “Menopause, the Musical,” at Beef and Boards, Indianapolis; the Toyota Factory and much more in Princeton, Ind.; Bloomington, Ind. winery and cooking school; a mystery trip; the Circus City Festival in Peru, Ind.; “Always…Patsy Cline” at the Beef House, Covington, Ind.; Belleville Flea Market; an apple orchard; candle making and other activities in Danville, Ind.; Christmas shopping on Michigan Avenue, Chicago; and St. Claire Square shopping and visiting Our Lady of the Snows Christmas lights, near St. Louis.
