MATTOON (JG-TC) -- The Mattoon Police Department has released information about six arrests that were made from Friday through Sunday.
Dakota I. W. Tipton, 21, of Mattoon was arrested at 10:45 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of West Park Plaza on a charge of criminal trespass to property. The charge alleges that he was trespassing at West Park Plaza, an apartment complex from which he had been previously banned. He was given a notice to appear in court.
Separately, Lancler D. Bland, 30, of Charleston, was arrested at 11:01 p.m. Friday at Steak-n-Shake, 1400 Broadway Ave. East. Bland was wanted on a Coles County warrant for contempt of court. Bland was taken to the Coles County jail.
In another incident, Melissa S. White, 38, homeless, of Mattoon, was arrested at 2:42 a.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Champaign Avenue on charges of driving on a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of methamphetamine. The latter charges allege that she was found to be in possession of crack cocaine and meth. White was taken to the jail.
Separately, Greg A. Fultz, 41, of Mattoon was arrested at 4:20 a.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of Broadway Avenue. He was wanted on an arrest warrant from Otero County, N.M., for forgery. He was taken to the jail.
In a separate incident, Jeffrey A. Reeder, 41, homeless, of Mattoon, was arrested at 6:52 p.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of Piatt Avenue on a meth possession charge. Reeder was taken to the jail.
Also, Mathew D. Estes, 42, of Mattoon was arrested at 10:09 p.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of Commercial Avenue on a charge of domestic battery. The charge alleges that he battered a female. Estes was taken to the jail.
