CHARLESTON (JG-TC) -- City tourism funds were OK’d for advertising for the Embarras Valley Film Festival.
Charleston City Council members voted on the use funds at their meeting Tuesday. Eastern Illinois University’s Doudna Fine Arts Center has requested $600 in tourism funds to cover advertising expenses related to the film festival.
The film festival is a Eastern hosted event exploring and discussing film. According to the festival website, it is the festival’s 13th year-running.
