We are missing a political candidate. Shirley Bell, Democratic candidate, and Terry Davis, one of two Republican candidates, show up for forums when invited. They are candidates to represent the 110th House District in the Illinois General Assembly. They show up to share their views on issues and to answer questions from citizens.
A second candidate in the Republican Primary has not shown up for four political forums held in Charleston. Shirley Bell has participated in every forum except for the Chamber of Commerce Forum when she was not invited since she has no primary challenger. Terry Davis has participated in every forum.
Why is the second Republican candidate not showing up for forums? Is he afraid to share his views with constituents? Is he afraid to answer our questions? If so, why would he be trusted to represent us in Springfield?
