An 11-25-17 Letter to the Editor quoted Louis Brandeis: “We can have a democratic society or we can have the concentration of great wealth in the hands of the few. We cannot have both.”

The United States Constitution democratically established America’s democratic society consistent with the principles of limited government, Liberty, and Justice. America’s democratic society was never predicated on “social justice.” But since its founding, America’s democratic institutions have gradually been taken over by extreme-left jurists, giving the federal government greater power to coerce its citizens. That trend began in earnest with the Woodrow Wilson Administration’s Progressive Income Tax Amendment {1913} and his Supreme Court appointment of Louis Brandeis {1916-39}, whose Brandeis Brief “made use of social facts, rather than relying solely on precedent and general [constitutional] arguments.” The social scientists that Justice Brandeis cites, along with ACLU lawyers, are atheistic secularists. The faithful of that religion have asserted for decades that in our “secular” democratic society a Christian’s freedom of expression must be limited to the privacy of the pew. Activist jurists have used this false notion for a half-century to rule against public Christian speech. However, under the Constitution, the federal government must forever remain neutral in matters of religion while the Christian citizen’s freedom of public religious expression is protected. America’s democratic society was also never predicated on atheistic secularism, as was Europe’s, the model preferred by progressives of both parties.

The Left’s one-hundred-year crusade against Christian values has gradually turned America’s exceptional democratic society up side down. Private citizen business-owners are “democratically” forced to “democratically” abandon otherwise healthy social and economic policies based on time-tested Protestant-work-ethic and capitalistic principles. These are “democratically” replaced with government’s “democratic” redistribution of wealth “democratically” confiscated from the few in order to “democratically” fund social-engineering experiments that make the continued “democratic” growth and “democratic” spread of an invasive alien economic, political, and socio-religious “democratic” cancer more likely as more Supreme Court-decisions are based on the “democratic” Brandeis Brief and “democratic” International law instead of relying solely on the United States Constitution.
