MOUNT CARMEL -- The Lake Land baseball season came to an end Saturday with a 10-4 loss to Kaskaskia College in the double elimination Division I Region 24 tournament. 

Lake Land trailed 6-0 after an inning and half before cutting the deficit in half. However, the Blue Devils scored a run in the third and three in the fourth to lead 10-3.

Dallas Wilson, a Charleston graduate, was 2-for-4 with a run and two runs batted in, while Anthony Morales was 1-for-2 with two runs scored. 

Lake Land took two out of three from Kaskaskia during the season, winning 8-3 and and losing 5-1 on March 9 before wining 11-3 on March 10. 

Lake Land finished 11-16 in the Great Rivers Athletic Conference, good for seventh place out of 10 teams. 

Parker Nolan suffered the loss, falling to 5-7. The Lakers finished 22-30 overall. 

A total of 13 sophomores graduated, including Wilson and Okaw Valley graduate Devon Still.
