CARTERVILLE — The Lake Land baseball team dropped a 4-3 game to John A. Logan on Sunday.

Lake Land had a 1-0 lead before John A. Logan tied the game in the bottom of the season. Then John A. Logan took the lead in the seventh with three runs. Lake Land tried to come back with two runs in the eighth to cut it to one, but that's as close as the Lakers got in the loss.

It was the ninth straight loss for Lake Land, which falls to 15-26 overall on the season and 8-14 in the Great Rivers Athletic Conference.
