CENTRALIA — The Lake Land men's basketball team improved to 8-2 overall and 4-0 in the Great Rivers Athletic Conference with an 87-81 victory over Kaskaskia College Saturday.
Kevin Williams and Amel Kuljuhovic led the Lakers with 18 points and were two of five players to finish in double digits. Kasey Elam added 15, while Josh Robinson had 13 and Josh Jefferson finished with 12 points. Williams and Elam had 13 points in the second half.
Lake Land led 36-26 at halftime.
The Lakers are to travel to Springfield to face Lincoln Land Community College Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
