VINCENNES, Ind. — Lake Land men’s basketball traveled to Vincennes University in Indiana on Saturday and lost to the number two team in the nation, 100-61.
For the Lakers, Josh Jefferson had 19 points, and Tra Landers had 12 points. Kevin Williams was the leader in rebounds with six total, but Amel Kuljuhovic closely followed with five rebounds. Sean Kromah led in steals with three total. Jefferson, Kromah and Allante Harper each had one steal. The team had 17 total turnovers.
Overall, Lake Land’s head coach Brandon Colvin said the Lakers took a shot in the game on Saturday.
“When you don’t play defense and you don’t share the ball on offense, you won’t win many games,” said Colvin. “Thought as a team we looked for our shot versus looking for the best shot.”
Lake Land fell to 14-4 for the season and is to play at Olney Community College on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
