CHAMPAIGN (JG-TC) -- On Saturday the Lakers held on to a 41-32 lead at the half and led by as many as 11 in the second half before running out of gas and falling 91-79 to the Cobras of Parkland College. The Lakers only dressed nine players with six out for various reasons.

Leading the way on Saturday was Joshua Robinson with 22 points, including 12-16 from the line, while Dezon Farris added 17. Kevin Williams was the only other double figure scorer with 14 points. 

Lake Land is 4-1 and is to travel to Godfrey to face Lewis and Clark at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
