Fan Bus Available for EIU WNIT Game at Illinois

CHARLESTON– The Eastern Illinois department of athletics is offering a fan bus to Champaign on Monday for the Eastern Illinois women’s basketball game against Illinois in the second round of the WNIT.

The fan bus is free to EIU students and costs $10 for the general public, including season ticket holders and Panther Club members. The price includes the round-trip transportation and one ticket per person.

Only 55 seats are available on the bus and fans are encouraged to contact the EIU Athletic Office at 217-581-2106 to reserve a seat. Students need to show their Panther Card to gain admittance onto the bus.

The bus departs Charleston at 5 p.m. and is to return at the conclusion of the contest.

Tickets are to be given to individuals on the bus to gain entrance to the arena.

EIU Tickets For WNIT 2nd Round On Sale

CHARLESTON - Tickets for the second round of the Women's NIT to be played on Monday at 7 p.m. at Champaign's Assembly Hall are now on sale through the Eastern Illinois Ticket Office.  Fans can call 217-581-2106.

Eastern Illinois is to play at Illinois for the second round game.  Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students.  Parking for the event at the Assembly Hall is free for this game.

EIU advanced to the second round by beating Southeastern Conference member Missouri on Wednesday night, 60-58. Illinois beat Miami of Ohio, 73-60, Thursday.

Tickets can be purchased until 2 p.m. on Monday through the EIU ticket office.  All ticket orders are to be available for pick up at the EIU Ticket Office on Monday until that 2 p.m. deadline.
