Charleston/Mattoon Weightlifting Club coach Troy Pfeiffer said he expects good lifts from both of them. "Zack may clean and jerk over 400 pounds, and Bret is home on break and is in pretty good shape. He heads back to Northern Michigan University the day after the meet."

The competition starts at approximately. 9:30 a.m. Saturday and is to last until approximately 4:30 p.m.

Both Schnorf and Pfeiffer commented on the fact that the meet was only possible due to the great cooperation they get from the Mattoon YMCA and the meet sponsor.

"We are very fortunate to have the beautiful facility that the YMCA offers as well as the generous and consistent help Mediacom has offered to us. We have also always gotten incredible support from Mattoon Tourism every time we have asked for their help, " said Schnorf and Pfeiffer.
