BROCTON -- The 15th Annual Brocton Red Barn Market will be held from noon-5 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday.

Various items brought by local vendors and others from many places in Illinois and Indiana will be available, including primitives, antiques, collectibles, vintage clothing and garden items as well as repurposed items made from wood and metal. Hand-crafted jewelry, soaps, baskets, lamps, signs, pottery, paintings and other furniture can be personally handpicked. If you need a farm barn for your child or grandchild, you will be able to choose from several models. There will also be several vendors outside selling items.

Several vendors will also be demonstrating various crafts. New this year will be Nathan Bassett of Bloomington demonstrating Spray Paint Art which you will be able to purchase. He will be demonstrating this on Friday afternoon only. Saturday will feature Enoch Anderson of Paris, whittling; Michele Stahly of West Terre Haute, Ind., basket weaving; Vern Bear of Paris, rope making; and Gary Jones of Montezuma, Ind., chair caning.

Food will be available inside the barn on Friday and Saturday. On Saturday the American Legion will be serving a pork chop meal from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Admission to the Barn Market is $2 and parking is free. For more information, contact 217-385-2450 or visit www.broctonil.org.
