Drivers who know the rules of the road and practice defensive driving play an important role in making the roads safer for everyone.
Although you may have been in the driver’s seat for years, it’s a great idea to refresh your knowledge of the general rules of the road.
The Rules of the Road Review Course is designed to give drivers – especially older adults and persons with disabilities – the knowledge and confidence needed to renew or obtain a driver’s license.
The course combines an explanation of the driving exam and will refresh your knowledge of Illinois driving laws, traffic signs and practical driving skills. There will be a practice written exam only to measure your knowledge through questions and information.
Your LifeSpan Center is pleased to offer the upcoming Rules of the Road class schedule for this year. Sponsored by the Illinois Secretary of State, these free classes are open to the public. Pre-register by calling your LifeSpan Center at 217-639-5150 and mention the Rules of Road and which date you would like to attend.
