SULLIVAN -- The Little Theatre On The Square opened the world premiere of "SuperKids" on Friday. An original musical with book by Therese Supple Kincade and Annie Kincade and music and lyrics by Andy Hudson, "SuperKids" is the second show in the theater's Theatre For Young Audience series.
"SuperKids" follows the adventures of third-graders Alex, Kristen and Louis, who use their super powers to show others that friendship is the greatest power of all.
"We are very proud to introduce this show to Central Illinois", says Therese Supple Kincade, one of the authors and the Associate Artistic Director for The Little Theatre On The Square."It's an important story about friendship and acceptance wrapped up in fun music and magical super powers!"
The cast of "SuperKids" features Bobby Becher as Alex, Lexie Wolfe as Kristin and James Garrett Hill as Louis, who are all currently appearing in the Mainstage producation of "Damn Yankees." Direction for "SuperKids" will be by Therese Supple Kincade with choreography by Sarah Philabaum. This show will close on Saturday, July 14. All show times are 10:30 a.m.
