MARSHALL -- Knowles Auction House in Marshall will be a flurry of activity on Feb. 23 as the Clark County Antique Power Club prepares for its annual Pork Chop Supper and Auction.
According to a press release, this yearly event features a full meal of pork chop or pork burger, baked potato, and green beans catered by Main Street Cafe of Paris. Also included in the meal will be drinks and homemade dessert. The cost will be $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages 2-10.
Serving will be from 4-7:30 p.m., with the auction starting at 5 p.m. and continuing until all the donated items have been sold. The proceeds from the auction will be used for various community activities including the club's annual tractor show in August and college scholarships for high school students with a history of working in agriculture, 4H and FFA.
Drive-thru and carry-out will be available. The club will be selling T-shirts, caps, and raffle tickets on a very nice child's tractor with auger to be given at our Tractor Show in August. You don't need to be a farmer or own farm equipment to join this club. All are welcome who have a desire to keep farming alive as it used to be. Annual family membership is only $15 and meetings are held at Rudy's Family Restaurant at 7 p.m. on the 2nd Monday of each month. All are welcome to come for supper and socializing at 6 p.m..
