MATTOON — The East Central Harmony Chorus, local chapter of Sweet Adelines International, is set to take the Lake Land College Theater stage Thursday, April 18 beginning at 7 p.m.

Barbershop harmony, a style of a cappella, will be showcasing a 20-minute program featuring a variety of songs. Following the performance, all audience members are encouraged to stay and learn a selected barbershop song and harmonize with the chorus.

“Each song will be a surprise to the audience. We are really looking forward to doing this show,” Becky McDuffee, musical director, said.
