MATTOON -- Sarah Bush Lincoln will host its 30th annual Golf Benefit on Friday, June 14, at Meadowview Golf Course.

Net proceeds from the event will benefit construction of Sarah Bush Lincoln’s new outpatient surgery center.

Procedures to be performed in the new center include ophthalmology, ENT and some orthopedic surgeries. The 18,000-square-foot facility will be situated just east of Prairie Pavilion 1 and is expected to take about a year to complete.

Sarah Bush Lincoln’s Golf Benefit offers golfers the option of either a morning or afternoon flight. A continental breakfast will be available during morning registration, which begins at 6:30 a.m., prior to a 7:30 a.m. tee off. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and registration for the afternoon flight, which tees off at 1 p.m., will begin at noon. Golfers are encouraged to wear SBL golf shirts from previous years in commemoration of the event’s 30th anniversary.

The lucky winner of this year’s raffle will win a resort vacation certificate and $1,000 travel cash.
