MATTOON (JG-TC) -- Coles County’s Luci Englum has been named general manager of Cromwell Radio Group’s 101.3 WMCI, 92.1 WWGO “The Axe” and 104.3 WCBH “The Party”.

Englum replaces Carol Floyd, who moved to manage radio stations in Bloomington. Englum has been Cromwell’s local business manager since 2008.

“We’re thrilled that Luci can accept this position as a ‘promotion from within’. She has been interim GM since mid-December and is doing a wonderful job," Bayard Walters, Cromwell president said in a press release.

Englum is married to Steve and they have one daughter. In addition to being Cromwell general manager, she is also part time chief of police in Hindsboro. She is an Arcola native and Charleston resident since 2004. She graduated from Arcola High School and Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.

Cromwell Group, Inc. and affiliates operate 27 radio stations and digital services in Illinois (16), Kentucky (7) and Tennessee (4). All can be heard on the app “iGoRadio”. In addition to Mattoon-Charleston, other Illinois communities include Decatur, Effingham and Vandalia.

The company’s motto is “Build Up, Don’t Tear Down."
