NEOGA -- Hi Point Mobile, Inc., owned by Jarod Carlen, has purchased the facility formerly known as Hatten Welding and Repairs, 498 County Road 600 N., in Neoga.
The facility is located six miles north of Montrose. Carlen will join Gary Hatten, welder and fabricator, with each of them operating their own individual businesses under one roof. The two businessmen will be offering a one-stop shop for all repair needs, according to a press release.
Hi Point Mobile is a business that specializes in on-site repair and maintenance. The company has the reputation of being able to do on location nearly anything done in a shop, according to a press release. High Point has made an investment to have the ability to electronically hook up to nearly anything including engine lights, ABS lights, and more.
A new addition to the facility is in the works. The new area will be designated for machine shop service only and will add 2,300 square feet to the current 2,200-square-foot facility.
With the new space, Hatten and Carlen can work to diagnose and repair medium duty pickups, semis, as well as agriculture and construction equipment, the press release states.
