MATTOON -- The Alpha Upsilon chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha will be holding their third annual “Back to School Rummage Sale” on Aug. 4 and 5 at the former Deb store in the Cross County Mall in Mattoon.
They will be accepting donations of gently used clothing, children thru adult, household items, toys, small furniture, and knick-knacks. All donations must be clean and in good condition. Any large or electronic items of any kind will not be accepted.
Hours for drop offs will be Monday, July 30, 1-4 p.m.; Tuesday, July 31, 2-6 p.m.; and Wednesday, Aug 1, 4-7 p.m.. Use the back door of Debs for drop offs.
Hours for the rummage sale will be: Thursday, Aug. 2, an Early Bird Sale will be held from 4 -7 p.m. with a $1 donation; Friday, Aug. 3, from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 4, a $5 bag sale will be held from 9 a.m.–1 p.m..
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and to Easter Seals.
Epsilon Sigma Alpha is an International Leadership and Service Organization that supports St Jude Children's Research Hospital and its Midwest affiliate in Peoria, Easter Seals, Hope for Heroes, Camp New Hope and many other local and civic projects.
