MATTOON -- After a few hours of coming into this world, Emery Claire House passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL.
Private graveside service honoring Emery’s life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Dodge Grove Cemetery in Mattoon, IL, with Pastor Brad Brown officiating. Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, located at 1200 Wabash Avenue, Mattoon, IL 61938, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Emery, born August 25, 2017 at 4:15 A.M., was the dear infant daughter to Brodie and Heidi (Endsley) House and twin sister to brother Rueger Robert House. Sweet Emery weighed 3 lbs. 13 ½ oz., with a few wisps of blonde hair just like her adoring mother, a tiny nose and bright eyes, she resembled her brother Rueger and proud father. In Emery’s final moments, her family affectionately embraced her, letting her know how much she is loved and will be greatly missed. Though Emery lived a short life, it was full of love and she has a lasting impact on many people.
Emery is survived by her parents Brodie and Heidi House of Sullivan, IL; twin brother Rueger House of Sullivan, IL; grandparents, Tom Endsley and wife Becky of Humboldt, IL, Bill House and wife Linda of Mattoon, IL, Verna Jones and husband Greg of Mattoon, IL; great-grandmother, Jane Frederick of Sullivan, IL; two aunts, Heather Smith and husband Todd of Mattoon, IL, Kelsa Bartels and husband Carl of Trilla, IL; one uncle, Keegan House of Mattoon, IL; several cousins; and Godparents, A.J. Cobble and wife Alysia of Mattoon, IL. Emery is preceded in death by her great grandparents.
