STEWARDSON -- Stewardson-Strasburg schools have announced February PBIS Students of the Month: Mariah Riley and Stacie Vonderheide
Mariah Riley of Shumway is the daughter of John and Erin Mueller and Josh and Ashley Dunaway and is a senior.
Her activities include FCA, Drama Club, Business Club, WYSE Club, National Honor Society, Church Youth Group, teaching a 3-year-old Sunday School class, and is a Yearbook editor.
Her future plans include going to Lake Land College to earn an associate’s degree in elementary education, then transfer to a university and get a bachelor’s degree.
Her favorite subject is yearbook because she enjoys taking pictures and watching the book progress.
In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, making crafts, helping out on the farm and eating fried pickles.
If she won the lottery she would pay off college and visit Florida. If a genie was able to grant her one wish she would wish for more wishes in case she ever needed anything. If she had one super power she would be able to teleport that way she would never be late and could travel more.
Mariah Vonderheide is the daughter of Brock and Jamie Vonderheide of Stewardson.
Her activities include Effingham Flame softball, junior high school softball, Panthers girls basketball and junior high school basketball, junior high school volleyball, junior high track and 4-H.
Her future plans are to become a teacher or a nurse and be the best mom she can be, like her mom.
Her favorite subject is science, because she likes to do experiments and learn about different animals.
In her free time she likes to play outside with her family.
If she won the lottery she would donate it to the Make a Wish foundation or share the money with her family. If a genie was able to grant her one wish she would wish for the genie to grant all her family’s wishes or if that doesn’t count, peace on earth. Her super power would be to fly because it would be fun and she would be able to dunk a basketball.
