ARCOLA — A group of Arcola High School senior students plan to help raise funds for new playground equipment at the Arcola Elementary School by holding a Longaberger Binga and a vendor fair, including Thirty-One Gifts.
These events are scheduled for Nov. 17 at the Arcola Center, with doors opening at noon. Binga will begin at 2 p.m.
The vendor fair is slated to feature Cookie Lee Jewelry-Erica Schrock, Longaberger-Pat Titus, Norwex-Sarah Thomas, Origami Owl-Jill Hohlbauch, Pampered Chef-Glenda Chancellor, Paparazzi/Scentsy-Angie Miller, Partylite-Katrina Smith, Pink Zebra-Johnna Myers, Tastefully Simple-Susan Haynes, Thirty-One Gifts-Elizabeth Smothers, Tupperware-Tara Martin, Usbourne Books-Laura Williams, and Wreaths and Bows-Jana Mahannah.
Arcola seniors Olivia Catanzaro, Maria Climaco, Alexis Conlin, Katrina Gauna, Hunter Gobert and Klaire Karmazinas have organized this event.
“We’d like to help purchase some additional playground equipment for the Arcola Elementary school,” Maria Climaco said in a press release. “We want to leave our school better, and this is a way we can help.”
Admission is $10 before the event, with $15 admission at the door. Three additional intermission games will be offered for $8 for prizes valued at $400.
