CHARLESTON — The Knights of Columbus Council 4024 fish fry season is about to begin. They will be hosting the group's annual Lenten Fish Fry every Friday during Lent from Friday, Feb. 28 through Friday April 3 in Moriarty Hall of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church at 921 Madison Ave.
The fry will last from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Stations of the Cross follow the meal at 7 p.m. in the church for those interested.
There will be an early-bird special from 4:30 to 5 p.m. for $9.50 per adult. After 5 p.m. the All You Care to Eat meal will be $10. Kids 5-12 are $5.
The menu will include fried fish, baked fish, pasta, pizza, green beans, hush puppies, french fries, salad bar with tomatoes, cheese, olives, croutons, and an assortment of salad dressings, and baked potato.
Drive-thu service will be offered along 10th Street. Follow the signs around the block to head south on 10th Street. Drive-thru service will be in front of Fr. Braden’s Garage and you can place your order with a brother Knight. A drive-thru meal will consist of two pieces of fish, baked potato and green beans for $10. Additional parking can be found north of the church.
