ARCOLA — St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Arcola provided the setting for the wedding of Beth Anne Boyer of Arcola and Lucas Edward Hensley of Arthur.
The Rev. Barry Harmon officiated the 2 p.m. double-ring ceremony on May 25, 2013. Greg Boyer was the organist and Pat Titus was the vocalist.
The bride is the daughter of Grant and Lisa Boyer of Arcola. The groom is the son of Ron and Lori Mitchell and Dale Hensley of Arthur.
Her father escorted her to the altar.
Mackenzie Mann of Mattoon was the maid of honor. Brittany Arthur, Tara Holiday, and Beth Thomas, all of Arcola; Rikki Langan of Jacksonville; and Laura Van Dusen of Alton, were the bridesmaids.
Andrew Hensley of Mattoon was the groom’s best man. Joshua Hensley of Mattoon; Stan Boyer and Dustin Boyer, both of Arcola; Blake Coffey and Clint Coffey, both of Charleston, were the groomsmen.
Seating the guests were ushers Drew Sappenfield of Villa Grove, and Terry Foran of Arcola.
Children in the wedding party were: Alliyah Williams, daughter of Chris Williams and Chelsea Sappenfield; Mia Cornwell, daughter of Curtis and Morgan Cornwell; and Jackson Logue, son of Tony and Heidi Logue.
Guests were welcomed at the I-Hotel and Conference Center in Champaign.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Arcola High School and a 2012 graduate of MacMurray College.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of Arthur High School and 2013 graduate of Eastern Illinois University.
She is employed as an educator and the Illinois School for the Deaf, and he is employed by the Bartlett Corporation. Following a honeymoon to the Dominican Republic, they reside in Jacksonville.
