CHARLESTON — The Charleston Police Department recently sold pink theme department patches as part of the Pink Patch Project, a national campaign to raise awareness for those battling breast cancers. Officers sold all of its patches, raising $1,050 to benefit the Sarah Bush Lincoln Regional Cancer Center.

"We are so grateful to the Charleston Police Department for this wonderful donation that will benefit those fighting cancers, who struggle to pay for costly medications and other medical necessities," said Amy Card, SBL Foundation director. "We appreciate the officers and their generosity so very much."
