CHARLESTON (JG-TC) -- An Oakland man was arrested on suspicion of drug possession and other offenses after he was found trespassing at a rural Coles County location.

Steven A. Bridges, 57, whose address on record is 113 S. Walnut St., was arrested on Feb. 19 after he was spotted on property that was posted no trespassing, according to a news release from the Coles County Sheriff's Office.

The release said Bridges was later found in possession of marijuana, methamphetamine and a gun.

  • Tyler A. Lovekamp, 27, no address available, after he reportedly damaged property in Trilla on Feb. 22.

The release said Lovekamp fled from deputies and was also arrested for resisting police. He also has earlier, pending cases and the arrest was also for failure to appear in court, it said.

  • Joshua D. Kimmel, 29, of Mattoon and Misty K. Fouts, 29, of Shelbyville after they were found with methamphetamine on Feb. 23.

The release they were located after a report of a suspicious vehicle at an abandoned residence near Lerna.
