CHARLESTON (JG-TC) -- A Neoga man was arrested last week for reportedly stealing a trail cam after his pickup truck got stuck in a farm field in southern Coles County.

Walter L. Hrudicka, 18, is suspected of driving into the field at 2919 Etna Road and then was unable to get the truck out of the field, according to a news release from the Coles County Sheriff's Office.

Officers responded to the report of the truck in the field on Saturday, the release said. It was also discovered that Hrudicka had stolen the trail cam, a camera with a motion detector often used for security, that was posted nearby, it said.

The release said the trail cam was recovered and Hrudicka was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and theft.
