A couple weeks ago, CHS students elected homecoming royalty from their classes. They were announced during the coronation assembly on Monday, Oct. 7.

Each grade level nominates and votes on students from their own grade. The senior class nominates the senior students, but the entire student body votes for the king and queen.

In addition to each grade level attendants, all fall sports athletes choose a pair of senior fall sports attendants, and the football team chooses a senior football attendant who is escorted by a senior football player.

This year’s freshmen attendants are Marshall Smith and Maleah Highshoot. Sophomore attendants are Jackson Becker and Destiny Tuttle. Junior attendants are Chris Hildebrand and Lexie Stewart. Senior attendants are Cade Lawless and Meleah Hackett.
