ROBINSON -- State Representative Chris Miller (R-Oakland), announced that the Conference of Women Legislators (COWL), a bipartisan, bicameral, nonprofit organization of women legislators in the Illinois General Assembly, has announced the 2019-2020 Scholarship Award Program. The scholarship program endeavors to assist Illinois women, 25 years or older, who are seeking to earn undergraduate college degrees. Each scholarship is $2,500.

“These scholarships are targeted at helping women, 25 years of age or older, who may have had their education interrupted so they could raise a family or maybe never had a chance to go to college until later in life,” said Rep. Chris Miller. “I encourage women who think they may qualify for these scholarships to apply.”
