MATTOON (JG-TC) -- Several motorists are still hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision Saturday evening on Illinois Route 121 at Coles Station.

The Coles County Sheriff's Office reported that the collision between vehicles driven by Adrienne Powell, 29, of Mattoon and Aydin Garcia, 18, of Mattoon occurred at 11 p.m. at Route 121 at Coles County Road 1000N. The Sheriff's Office reported that Garcia was driving north on Route 121 when his vehicle was struck by Powell's westbound vehicle on 1000N.

Emergency medical services crews took Garcia and his passenger, Makayla N. Watkins, 19; and Powell and Powell's passenger, Lori R. Flinspach, 56, to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana for treatment of injuries. They took took Powell's other passenger, Kerri J. Roley, 48, to Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.

Watkins said late Sunday afternoon, via a Facebook message, that both she and Garcia were hospitalized in stable condition. A representative of Carle reported late Sunday afternoon that Flinspach and Powell were in fair condition. Sarah Bush Lincoln does not release patient condition information.

The investigation of the crash is pending. Coles County deputies were assisted at the scene by personnel from Mattoon, Sullivan and Wabash fire departments, Dunn's and Windsor ambulance, Mattoon Police Department, and Moultrie County Sheriff's Office.
