CHARLESTON — Three additional Coles County residents have tested positive for COVID-19, the county Health Department reported on Monday.
The new cases bring the county's total for people infected by the disease caused by the coronavirus to 162, a news release from the health department said.
Of those, the release said, three people are hospitalized, 131 have recovered, 17 are deceased and 15 are recovering.
The release also said health department officials urge county residents to continue to wear face masks in public, practice social distancing and take other measure to help limit the spread of the virus.
