Final Moore Business Forms employees reunion set

CHARLESTON -- The 25th and final annual picnic for former Moore Business Forms employees will be held Saturday Sept. 14 at Morton Park, southeast pavilion. The picnic will be at 3 p.m. with the meal beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Those attending are asked to bring their own hotdogs, buns, table service, and drinks, as well as a covered dish to share.

All former employees and their families are welcome to attend.

CHARLESTON -- The 82nd consecutive Sims Reunion was held Aug. 18, in the Brick Pavilion at Fox Ridge State Park, south of Charleston.

The reunion was attended by 42 people from the states of Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Iowa.

President Bob Stewart conducted a short business meeting. Officers for the 83rd consecutive Sims Reunion are Bob Stewart, president; Hal Sims, vice president; and Judy Michael, secretary/treasurer.

Gift Certificates were awarded to youngest children present-Camden Sappington and Declan Sappington; oldest lady present-Alice Seeley; oldest gentleman present-Hank Sale; and the Johns family who traveled the farthest.

The 83rd consecutive Sims Reunion will be held at 12:30 p.m., August 9, 2020, in the Brick Pavilion at Fox Ridge State Park.
