MATTOON -- Andrea Trillin-Bell, age 62, of Mattoon passed away at 9:13 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Funeral Services celebrating her life will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Schilling Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Zion Hill Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Andy was born on July 16, 1956 in St. Joseph, MO the daughter of Abe and Hermine (Levikow) Trillin. She married Douglas Bell on May 16, 1993.
Survivors include her loving husband of 25 years, Doug Bell of Mattoon, IL; son, Jonathon Andrew Bell of Mattoon, IL; sister, Kathy Trillin of St. Louis, MO; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, William and Jill Bell of Mattoon, IL, James and Joyce Bell of Mattoon, IL and Steve and Cinda Bell of Bridgeport, IL; mother-in-law, Maxine Chapin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Andy was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Marty Dunard and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Colleen Baughman.
Andy worked as a make-up artist for many years. She was a retail manager of designer clothing stores in St. Louis and briefly managed a designer clothing store in New York City. She was a caring foster parent, loved her cats and enjoyed working in her flower garden. She will be remembered for so many things, among them being a great listener and for her wonderful sense of humor. Andy had an appreciation for art, music, culture and she loved to travel. Andy's priority was her uncompromising devotion to her son and helping him become all that he could be. She was Jonathon's tireless advocate in all things. Most of all, Andy cherished spending time with her family and enjoyed many trips with Doug and Jonathon. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
