MATTOON -- April Leah (Lannon) Fisher, age 38, of Mattoon passed away at 11:46 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2018.
Funeral Services honoring her life will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at First Christian Church, 1600 Wabash Avenue, Mattoon, IL 61938 with Pastor Steve Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Janesville Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 17, 2018 at Schilling Funeral Home, 1301 Charleston Avenue, Mattoon, IL 61938.
April was born on February 26, 1980 in Mattoon the daughter of Julie Elliott Lannon and Wayne Woolen. She married Michael Fisher on August 24, 2013.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Fisher of Mattoon, IL; children, KayLee Ann Marie Fisher and Devon Michael Fisher of Mattoon, IL; mother, Julie Lannon of Florence, MS; father, Wayne Woolen of Sullivan, IL; sister, Nichole (Scott) Lawrence of Florence, MS; grandmother, Lola Mae Elliott of Charleston, IL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ron and Judy Fisher of Mattoon, IL; sister-in-law, Shelly (Bruce) Miller of Mattoon, IL; and several nieces and nephews. April was preceded in death by her stepsister, Andrea Carter and grandmother, Betty Woolen.
April was an avid softball player. She enjoyed puzzles, poker, fishing and watching crime shows, especially NCIS. April was an excellent artist, a hard worker and loved animals. She never knew a stranger and her smile would light up a room. April will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and daughter. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
