DANVILLE -- Kristi Lee Cobble, 54, passed away on May 8, 2019, at her home in Greenwood, Ind.
Kristi was born August 19, 1964, in Danville, Ill., to Larry D. Mollett and Barbara Ann (Zick) Reffett.
She is survived by her daughter, Lindsay Brooke Cobble of Atlanta, Ga.; father and mother; step-father, Charles G. Reffett Jr.; sister, Kim Lape of Catlin, Ill.; brother, Jeff Mollett of Mattoon, Ill.; nephews, Ryan, Tyler, Jason and Joshua; nieces, Emili, Dawn and Deanna; uncle, Roger Gene (Linda) Zick; aunt, Nancy Brown; and beloved pup, Gracie.
She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Leah Pearl Mollett; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Elsie Mollett; and maternal grandparents, George and Pauline Zick.
Kristi's career in higher education began with earning her bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University in 1986, followed by her master's degree and thesis in 1996.
Kristi had an infectious smile and a great sense of humor. She deeply loved God, her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. One of Kristi's favorite quotes, "Life is not measured by how many breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."
Services will be at 11 a.m. August 18 in Georgetown, Ill., at Forest Park Cemetery, followed by a celebration of life at noon at Forest Glen Park in Georgetown, Ill.
