A-L-A-H defeats Sangamon Valley

ARTHUR — A-L-A-H defeated Sangamon Valley 62-30 in a Little Okaw Valley Conference Northwest Division game on Wednesday.

For the Knights, Kobe Wells had 29 points and three steals. Colton Romine had 10 rebounds, and Austin Plank had three assists.

A-L-A-H is 13-9, 3-1 and will be at Arcola for another division game on Friday.

WSS defeats Pana

PANA — WSS defeated Pana 56-43 in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday.

For the WSS Hatchets, Christian Kramer had 22 points, Isaac Kramer had 19 points and Beau Bennett had 10 points.

WSS is 11-12 and will host Beecher City for a National Trail Conference game on Friday.

Okaw Valley falls to Decatur LSA

DECATUR — Okaw Valley boys basketball lost to Decatur LSA 59-41 in a Little Okaw Valley Conference Southeast Division game on Tuesday.

For the Timberwolves, Jared Bunfill had 12 points and Garrett Fritz had 12 points.

Okaw Valley is 12-12, 1-2 and will travel to Bement for a non-conference game against Cerro Gordo/Bement on Friday.


Casey-Westfield heads to Regional Championships

CASEY — Casey-Westfield defeated Newton 41-38 and paved its way to the Class 2A Regional Championship game on Wednesday.

For the Warriors, Mackenzie Morgan had 19 points.

Casey-Westfield is 15-10 and will play Marshall at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Bob Durham Court in Casey.

Tri-County Keeps Number One Spot

NOKOMIS — Tri-County defeated South Fork/Edinburg 81-36 in the Class 1A IHSA Regional semifinals on Wednesday.

For Tri-County, Harley Barry had 20 points, 16 steals and seven assists. Tayler Barry had 17 points, and Maiya Eskew had 11 points. Kiersten Price-Wilson had five rebounds.

Tri-County is currently the No. 1 seed in Regionals and 25-4 for the season. Tri-County will continue to the Regional Championship on Thursday at 7 p.m.

WSS falls in regional semifinal

ALTAMONT— WSS girls basketball lost to North Clay 58-45 at the Class 1A regional semifinals on Wednesday.

For the WSS Hatchets, Megan Schlechte had 24 points.

WSS wrapped up the season with a 14-13 record.

Arcola ends season with loss

CHRISMAN — Arcola ended its season in the Regional semifinals from a 56-16 loss against Central A&M on Tuesday.

For the Purple Riders, KayLee Hollbauch earned her fifth double-digit game in a row this season when she scored 10 points.

Arcola ended the season with a 7-20 record.
